informally associated but concerned people. Just whom are we watching? OUR GOVERNMENT!!!
We affirm the conceptual and visionary government of which our founding fathers dreamed as the best possible hope for a utopian society, but we suffer the knowledge that the founders' dream has been subverted by greedy, smooth-talking, political hacks who successfully hide the fact that, aside from self-interest, they revere nothing: not their children, not their parents, not their neighbors, not their flag nor bible, certainly not their country nor its traditions nor its constitution.
Anytime a career politician professes concern in such areas, they need close watching, for they may be one of these hacks working a charade designed to further their self-interests in acquisitions and power.
Voltaire was right when he said, "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty."
Watching, exposing, and disposing of those who misgovern us is the mission of CATS. Our concerns are global and extend throughout cyberspace; our efforts are momentarily and necessarily concentrated in Eastern North Carolina, where the government is the corruptest because its practicioners are, by and large, the slickest.
CATS has challenged the political machine in Eastern North Carolina primarily on three issues: environmental protection relative to waste disposal; environmental protection relative to the so-called Global Transpork; and environmental protection relative to intensive livestock operations, particularly the swine industry.
